Renew & Restore 2020: A Weekend to Explore and Connect to Your Best Self

October 22-25, 2020 at the Jekyll Island Resort Club

A weekend of fun, fellowship, friendship, and laughter.

Renew and Restore Retreat (RRR) is a gathering of women who are looking for a shift, a transformational experience. Patty prefers a setting whereby the attendee can have some solo time in nature. This Retreat allows us to put aside competition and judgment. RRR is a powerful space to cultivate authenticity, empowerment, and connectivity in a safe and supportive setting. When women gather together for a shared purpose, a deep sense of sisterhood is created. Each Renew and Restore Retreat will offer different specialties such as yoga, wellness, dance, or meditation. All retreats include an emphasis on supporting the strength and healing of the feminine by coming together with love and respect for ourselves.

The first step is to take yourself away, even if just a day. It is a gift of time to oneself and will set you on a path of rediscovery. Participants will leave feeling inspired and deeply affirmed. Upon completing the Retreat, you will be Renewed and Restored.

An invitation from Patty Mohler

Indulge in a journey of self-exploration, experience the opportunity of learning to build upon your strengths and champion for the success of not only yourself but that of other women. Invest in YOU!  Rediscover and Restore your inner peace. Renew your commitment to being your best self.

No matter where you are in your life, make time for yourself.

Rediscover what gives you purpose, center yourself. This is your special time, just for you. Let yourself become the center of your life again. Let the world revolve around your needs for a change. Take the time to love yourself, and everything else will fall into place. Get back in touch with your own strength and power. The circumstances of your life may be overwhelming you. Take steps to connect with your own heart and soul, and suddenly you're back in touch with your center. You'll be amazed at how good you feel once that happens. Renew and Restore Weekend Retreat will help you explore and connect to your best self.

I took my first retreat in 2016. In the years preceding, my life underwent many changes. After 25 years, I went through a divorce, experienced the economy crash, taking my ceramics business with it, put myself through graduate school, and earned my therapist credentials. I was overwhelmed, burned out, and exhausted. I needed a place to heal.

While in Mexico, I turned off all the noise and distractions of my cell phone and iPad. Self-care was the theme of the week. I learned to listen to my body's natural rhythms; self-compassion was given freely. I learned to please my needs and desires. I learned how to be a human being, not a human doing.  When I returned, my family and friends wanted to know what or who happened to me. I felt renewed and restored to the person I once knew.

My second vacation (retreat) was with girlfriends for our collective 60th birthdays. We went hiking in Utah, and the week was judgment-free, loving, supportive, and uplifting. Again I felt renewed and restored.

After these two events, I created a new part of my business called Renew and Restore. Under this umbrella, I wanted to host a retreat where other women could find a place to experience space to be yourself, a place to be pampered, off the grid, have restorative yoga, play in the turquoise waters, have a deep soul to soul conversations, grab a massage …  JUST BE!

Reactions from working with Patty...

"Patty raised the bar when speaking to our community of women...  From the outset, she captured our senses while traveling thru her mindfulness journey and delivered us to our destination in synchronized rhythm for her well-deserved standing ovation.  We were connected in song and euphoria.  It was an evening to remember."

Aimee Boggs, Sr. VP Investments-Raymond James

"Her ability to “read” a group and change directions to meet the needs of the group is remarkable. I find her personality to be caring, genuine and sincere which allows participants to readily trust her. Her inspirational and thought-provoking ideas will encourage anyone to embrace the unknown and step out of their comfort zone."

 Ellen Menendez, Board Member AFSP

"She’s honest and intuitive and presents material that both applies and “hits home” with the personalities involved. I have had nothing but great experiences with Patty! Her motivating energy always leaves me with something to think about!"

Kerry Orton, BSN RN Ascension St. Vincent’s Cardiopulmonary Rehab Manager
